Gracia Gomez toonde al op jonge leeftijd haar muzikale talenten. Deze energieke daughter van een violist won haar eerste nationale talentenjacht op 8 jarige leeftijd.
Recentelijk heeft Gracia een Gouden en Platina prijs gewonnen
voor haar grote hit 'Roberto'. Hiervan zijn wereldwijd meer dan 3 miljoen exemplaren verkocht. De Nederlandse producer Harry de Winter van Event Productions en het team van Gracia waren in 1998 erg trots om de prestigieuze award aan de zeer dankbare Gracia uit te reiken. Ze werd voor deze prestatie feestelijk geeerd in hotel Torarica in haar geboortestad Paramaribo.

This energetic daughter who's father was a violinist won her first national talent contest at the age of eight.
Just recently Gracia received a Golden and Platina Award for her big hit 'Roberto',
Over 3 million copies of her beloved recording of 'Roberto' have sold throughout
the world. Dutch producer Harry de Winter from Event Productions and the team
around Gracia was very proud to present the prestigious awards to greatful Gracia
In 1998. For this achievement she was also honoured in her native town Paramaribo with a celebration at the Torarica Hotel.
