Surinaamse vocalist Oscar Harris begon in 1967 op te treden met the Twinkle Stars, de groep waar Bully Jonas een van de vocalisten was. Na een aantal hits, verliet hij de Twinkle Stars in 1973 om zijn solocarriere voort te zetten. Tot op heden brengt hij cd's uit.
